Mission
Mission Statement

Organization
Leadership and Staff
The success of our organization depends completely on the enthusiasm, effort, and expertise of our parent and community volunteers. We are an organization run solely by volunteers. All positions including the Head Coach and the coaching staff, Board of Directors/Executive Committee, committee members as well as all necessary tasks are organized, directed, and completed by volunteers to whom this team is deeply indebted.
Activity
TrapShooting
Trapshooting is one of the three major disciplines of competitive clay target shooting (shooting shotguns at clay targets). Trapshooting variants include but are not limited to international varieties ( Olympic trap, also known as “International Trap”, “Bunker”, ISSF Trap, and “Trench”), and American Trap – the predominant version in the United States. American Trap is broken down into three categories: singles, doubles, and handicap. LSH Trap Team primarily focuses on and participates in American Trap Singles events and competitions, while offering opportunities for our team members to learn about and try other disciplines of competitive clay target shooting.
Competition
Virtual and in Person
LSH Trap Team participates in both virtual and face-to-face competition through the league. “Virtual” is where the team shoots at their local shooting range(s), submits the scores online, and then those scores are compared against all other teams in their respective conference. There is no need to travel to other shooting ranges to compete in head-to-head competitions. Conferences are determined by the type of clay target sport and then by similar team sizes. “Face to Face” includes participation in League Championship, State, and National events where teams travel to a common site and compete in the face-to-face competition.
